Junior Division Rules

The following rules supersede the official little league rules for in-house play only.

1) No game shall go over 2 hours. An official game will be after the 1st completed inning.

2) No METAL CLEATS!!!

3) Seniors – All bats must meet 3 requirements. Bat Diameter is to be 2/58 (metal) 36’ max length.
Juniors – Bats may follow senior rules as well as Major rules. 34’ Max length. For more information on Bat rules visit: https://www.littleleague.org/playing-rules/bat-rules/

4) Pitch count rules for both will be with 95-pitch maximum (13-14 yr old rule). See page 42 of Rule Book.

5) Coaches may not leave dugout without permission of umpire. Any coach rushing out to argue with umpire shall be ejected immediately without further discussion.

6) Changes are to be made after 3 ½ innings. Games are scheduled for 7 innings.
**Exception – If the coaches believe the game will not go the full length, coach can enter replacements early so they get at-bat and field time.

7) Game starts with 9 fielders and 1 EH. No player will play half or full game as EH without permission of opposing coach or league officials. (ie., unable to run because of slight injury)

8) In the event of an injury, a player can be replaced by another player who was taken out of game.

9) Balks – Senior Division shall be enforced from Day 1.
Juniors will begin enforcement May 1.

10) Managers are to meet with umpire prior to game to go over ground rules and discuss eligible pitchers. Coaches should have prior game(s) pitching log.

11) In the event a game is stopped before home team gets their at-bat, the game reverts back to last completed inning, unless after ½ inning home team is still leading then game ends.

 **Home team pitcher has a perfect game. Top of 6th inning, home team winning, 3-0, visiting team scores two runs. The game is called before home team bats. Game ends 3-2 and perfect game lost.

12) No pitcher in any division may re-enter game as a pitcher once removed from the mound. No Pitching and Catching same day after 50 pitches.

13) Head first sliding is permitted.

14) There is no “on-deck” circle. No players shall be swinging a bat unless it is their at-bat.

15) If team is short on player, you can go to Majors Division to get player(s). Must consult Player Agent.

16) Catcher cannot pitch after 50 Pitches thrown.

17) Maximum 3 adults in dugout. All adults in dugout must have filled out volunteer form.

18) Coaches/Managers are to call in (email) all scores to [email protected] and Player Agents ASAP. Any incidents, forfeits, suspensions of players, coaches, and serious injuries are to be passed on to the league.
